Interior Design Principles & Elements: Solving the Interior Design Puzzle — Sheri Giancarlo
Be sure to join Us Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11:30 am for our monthly luncheon to hear Sheri Giancarlo speak on "Solving the Interior Design Puzzle" at Langley's Restaurant at Great Neck Country Club, $25 for all registered, and $30 for walk-ins includes gratuity and tax. From an interior design perspective, learn about the pieces, the details, and the decisions that drive home design and how it all gets put together. Sheri was born creative and has always been involved with art in some form or another, but it was interior spaces that fascinated her the most. As a young girl when other children would be playing together outside, Sheri was drawing floor plans not even knowing what a designer or an architect was. How humans interact with space, space she can imagine in 3-D in her mind from a piece of paper would eventually become a cornerstone of her career. Her innate talent for design benefited family and friends throughout the years. In 2010 Sheri graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design turning her natural talent into a professional reality. Sheri is the owner of Withinteriors since she opened the doors in 2017 and believes “within your home resides your story.” Utilizing an effective and efficient business model, Sheri works closely with her clients and reveals custom designs reflecting who they are from within. Sheri loves the thrill of pleasing her clients with design concepts they never thought possible and the challenge of solving interior puzzles often based in eclecticism. Sheri resides in Lebanon, CT with her husband Phill of 32 years, and her dogs Abbott and Mia. Their son Ian, now 26, resides in Portland, Oregon and is committed to helping the environment through his career endeavors. Sheri enjoys spending time at home in her backyard described as a “haven” by many, going on walks, taking long drives with her husband in their convertible, spending time with her pets, her friends, gardening, traveling to botanical gardens, and just taking in the beauty of nature wherever she goes. * Registration closes at 12 midnight the Sunday before the luncheon.
