“Every woman’s success should be an inspiration to another. We’re strongest when we cheer each other on.” – Serena Williams
The Southeastern Connecticut Women’s NETWORK believes that we are better together when we support each other. Partnerships with local, state and national organizations has been and is an important part of the Network’s history. Community Collaborations include:
Safe Futures
The women that created the NETWORK in 1976 worked to also create The Women’s Center in 1976, now Safe Futures. The Network has worked closely with their “sister organization” to raise awareness of those affected by domestic violence through tours, education of members, fundraising and assigning a Board member as a liaison to the nonprofit.
