Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is a standing Committee of the NETWORK*

Qualifications:

• Members are appointed by the board of directors (BOD)* in March
• Members in good standing of the NETWORK
• The Immediate Past President shall serve as a member*
• No member of the committee shall serve more than three consecutive terms*

Responsibilities:

• Committee meets in early April to discuss candidates for officer and board vacancies.
• Committee’s job is to educate candidates on the expectations on their role as officers and directors.
• Make recommendations to fill vacancies, after ascertaining the candidate’s willingness to serve if elected*.
• Create a slate of Officers and Directors for election at the annual meeting*.
